Services Are Non-Refundable

Services are non-refundable once work has begun, as work completed has immediate value and cannot be resold or reused.

TAUT Digital Solutions provides custom digital services — design, development, consulting, and marketing — that are bespoke and tailored to your specific requirements.

Project Deposits

Non-Refundable Deposit

  • A deposit (typically 50% of project cost) is required to secure your project start date
  • Deposits are non-refundable once the project commences
  • The deposit is credited toward your final project cost

Cancellation Within 7 Days

  • If you cancel within 7 days of deposit payment and before any work has been completed, we will refund 75% of the deposit
  • After 7 days or once work has begun, the deposit is non-refundable

Incomplete or Unsatisfactory Work

Our Quality Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our work. If deliverables don't meet the agreed scope or specifications:

  • We will revise the work at no additional cost during the revision phase
  • Revisions are included as agreed in the project proposal
  • Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope may incur revision fees

Dispute Resolution

If you believe deliverables do not meet the contract requirements:

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery with specific feedback
  • We will investigate and address legitimate concerns
  • If a refund is warranted, it will be processed within 14 days

What Qualifies for Refunds

Refunds may be considered in the following situations:

  • Service failure: We fail to deliver agreed deliverables due to our error
  • Breach of contract: We fail to fulfill material obligations in the service agreement
  • Technical issues: Deliverables have serious defects that prevent functionality
  • Miscommunication: Scope was fundamentally misunderstood, with documented evidence

What Does Not Qualify for Refunds

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Change of mind or buyer's remorse
  • Client failure to provide required information or approvals in a timely manner
  • Requests for changes that expand the original scope
  • Third-party integrations, hosting, or tools failing due to external causes
  • Client dissatisfaction with strategic recommendations when advice is professional and documented
  • Projects completed according to agreed specifications

Refund Process

If a refund is approved:

  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing within 30 days of delivery
  • We will investigate and respond within 7 business days
  • If approved, refunds are processed within 14 days to the original payment method
  • Bank processing times may add 3–5 additional business days

Delivery and Timeline

Project Delays

  • Timelines are estimates based on the scope provided
  • Delays caused by client feedback delays do not qualify for refunds
  • Delays caused by third-party tools or services are beyond our control
  • Significant delays on our part (beyond agreed timeline + 14 days) may result in partial refunds at our discretion

Intellectual Property and Deliverables

Upon final payment, clients receive:

  • Full ownership of custom design and development work
  • Source files and project documentation
  • Rights to use deliverables commercially

TAUT retains the right to use completed projects as portfolio examples and case studies unless otherwise contractually specified.

Maintenance and Support

Refunds do not apply to ongoing maintenance, support, or hourly consulting services. These are billed separately and do not qualify for refund upon completion.

Retainer Agreements

  • Monthly retainers are non-refundable for completed work
  • Unused retainer credits may carry forward to the next month or be credited toward future work
  • Cancellation of retainers requires 30 days' written notice

Government and Enterprise Clients

Refund terms for government contracts and enterprise agreements are subject to specific contract terms and may differ from this standard policy.
